Big Band Jazz
"For Rob and Bob," dedicated to Rob McConnell and Bob Florence, is one of my original Big Band compositions. From the the De Anza Daddios CD, "Inner Voices," directed by Steve Tyler. Soloists are Ken Feliciano - piano, Steve Tyler - trombone, and David Brigham - flugelhorn.
"Licked Clean," comp/arr by David Metzger, was recorded by the SF Bay Area big band, Full Spectrum Jazz, on their CD "Rayna's Dance." Band recording directed by Steve Tyler. During my time at Southwestern Community College, I directed the evening Community Concert Band. Here is our performance of Vaughan Williams' "English Folk Song Suite."
